Bristol SEO

Too much is written about the difficulty of SEO. Mountains are made out of molehills, and panic can all too often take over. Search engine optimisation is really following a simple set of rules, and tweaking your site so that you stay on top of the game.

Bear in mind that search engines are slow to catch up with your work – it took me three months to rank for Bristol SEO – a not uncommon period of time. In the fast moving world of the internet and in times of economic trouble when margins are being squeezed further and further this can feel like an age.

What this means to you though is that a carefully thought through and properly executed digital marketing plan can help you to take up the ‘slack’ in indexing time, and start to create a buzz about your website or product until Google, Yahoo!, Live and Ask catch up with you.

I believe testing is a crucial part of any website, and it is only by testing that you can determine the success or otherwise of your tweaking. Whether your metric of success is page impressions, newsletter sign-ups, article comments or purchases, without quantifiable testing you are operating in a vacuum.

Please feel free to contact me at james[at]jamesmorell.com if you would like to discuss any aspects of my work, and see how I may be able to assist you in optimising your site or creating a digital marketing plan for you.
